We calculate our valuations based on the total circulating supply of an asset multiplied by the currency reference price. The topic is explained in more detail here. How Do We Calculate the Cryptocurrency Market Cap? We calculate the total cryptocurrency market capitalization as the sum of all cryptocurrencies listed on the site. Does CoinMarketCap.com List All Cryptocurrencies? Almost. We have a process that we use to verify assets. Once verified, we create a coin description page like this. The world of crypto now contains many coins and tokens that we feel unable to verify. In those situations, our Dexscan product lists them automatically by taking on-chain data for newly created smart contracts. We do not cover every chain, but at the time of writing we track the top 70 crypto chains, which means that we list more than 97% of all tokens. How Big Is the Global Coin Market? At the time of writing, we estimate that there are more than 2 million pairs being traded, made up of coins, tokens and projects in the global coin market. As mentioned above, we have a due diligence process that we apply to new coins before they are listed. This process controls how many of the cryptocurrencies from the global market are represented on our site. What Is an Altcoin? The very first cryptocurrency was Bitcoin. Since it is open source, it is possible for other people to use the majority of the code, make a few changes and then launch their own separate currency. Many people have done exactly this. Some of these coins are very similar to Bitcoin, with just one or two amended features (such as Litecoin), while others are very different, with varying models of security, issuance and governance. However, they all share the same moniker — every coin issued after Bitcoin is considered to be an altcoin. What Is a Smart Contract? The first chain to launch smart contracts was Ethereum. A smart contract enables multiple scripts to engage with each other using clearly defined rules, to execute on tasks which can become a coded form of a contract. They have revolutionized the digital asset space because they have enabled decentralized exchanges, decentralized finance, ICOs, IDOs and much more. A huge proportion of the value created and stored in cryptocurrency is enabled by smart contracts. What Is a Stablecoin? Price volatility has long been one of the features of the cryptocurrency market. When asset prices move quickly in either direction and the market itself is relatively thin, it can sometimes be difficult to conduct transactions as might be needed. To overcome this problem, a new type of cryptocurrency tied in value to existing currencies — ranging from the U.S. dollar, other fiats or even other cryptocurrencies — arose. These new cryptocurrency are known as stablecoins, and they can be used for a multitude of purposes due to their stability. What Is an NFT? NFTs are multi-use images that are stored on a blockchain. They can be used as art, a way to share QR codes, ticketing and many more things. The first breakout use was for art, with projects like CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club gaining large followings. NFTs are a new and innovative part of the crypto ecosystem that have the potential to change and update many business models for the Web 3 world. What Are In-game Tokens? Play-to-earn (P2E) games, also known as GameFi, has emerged as an extremely popular category in the crypto space. It combines non-fungible tokens (NFT), in-game crypto tokens, decentralized finance (DeFi) elements and sometimes even metaverse applications. Players have an opportunity to generate revenue by giving their time (and sometimes capital) and playing these games. One of the biggest winners is Axie Infinity — a Pokémon-inspired game where players collect Axies (NFTs of digital pets), breed and battle them against other players to earn Smooth Love Potion (SLP) — the in-game reward token. This game was extremely popular in developing countries like The Philippines, due to the level of income they could earn. Players in the Philippines can check the price of SLP to PHP today directly on CoinMarketCap. What Are ETFs? In January 2024 the SEC approved 11 exchange traded funds to invest in Bitcoin. But some of the glitches seem to have gotten worse. At first, it seemed that the horizontal indicators wouldn't move sometimes after being placed initially. I found that any indicator placed on any chart and left for some time becomes stuck and can't move anymore. The price line indicators sometimes disappear when moving the chart or zooming in or out. App isn’t working right.
It doesn’t show my cryptos correctly, I keep getting errors and most importantly anything beyond 7 days it won’t let me see the market history. I’m moving to another portfolio app. This use to be the best app at one point though. Hope they sort it out with an update.

Absolutely must have for crypto traders
I can’t mention the amount of essential features it has which I believe are critical for traders. They have a neat and zippy interface, almost all of the cryptocurrencies & their live rates are displayed on one place. You also get updated with latest news of crypto world & you can set alerts. (-1*) The only thing I miss is notification of latest news articles, I don’t want to scroll the app every second to follow the latest news rather like a normal news app, CoinMarketCap should allow notifications of latest articles. Apart from the notification issue, this app is a must have & probably the only app you would need for all of your trading needs.

币圈进阶软件工具 CoinMarketCap 介绍｜ 币价、涨跌趋势、热点板块，15 大关键功能教学 - 知乎切换模式写文章登录/注册币圈进阶软件工具 CoinMarketCap 介绍｜ 币价、涨跌趋势、热点板块，15 大关键功能教学小鱼返佣CMC CoinMarketcap 是什么/CMC 介绍CoinMarketCap，也常被简称为 CMC，由开发者出身的 Brandon Chez 于 2013 年 5 月创立，并在 2020 年被龙头交易所 Binance 收购，是一个追踪加密货币数据的网站，提供大量关于不同交易所与加密货币的讯息，包括价格、市值、排名、交易量、流通供应量、市场趋势、相关新闻等资讯和图表，用户可以透过 CMC 来了解不同加密货币的价格表现和市场趋势，或者查询中心化交易所的安全性与流动性。目前，CMC 网站收录了超过一百八十万种加密货币和六百家以上的交易所，网站的每月浏览量超过 3 亿 4 千万，是全世界最大的加密货币资讯整合网站。如何使用 CoinMarketCap 网站？CoinMarketCap 网站入门教学一进入页面，网站会根据使用者的浏览器设定自动转换成该地区的语言，但预设的价格单位通常是美金，如果你是习惯其他国家币种的用户，建议先把右上角调整成指定币种，以免混淆加密货币的单位价格。接下来，我们来逐一针对 CoinMarketCap 的常用板块和主要功能进行介绍。加密货币现价、周期涨幅、市值、交易量、流通供给量以比特币为例，可以看到列表除了最新价格，还有 1 小时、24 小时、7 日的涨跌幅度，以及整体市值、 24 小时交易量和流通供给量。市值市值是用来衡量一个资产，也就是加密货币、股票或其他金融商品价值大小的指标。在加密货币领域中，市值通常会用来评估一个币种的整体价值和重要性。计算市值的方式，是将一个币种的单位价格乘上流通供应量的数字，来计算当下的这个币种市场规模和影响力。交易量交易量是指在一个特定时间内，特定加密货币的买卖交易总量，是用来判断一个币种流动性好坏和活跃程度的关键指标。交易量的变化也可以反映市场情绪，例如在重大新闻像是项目发币空投、联名合作、被骇客盗取或黑天鹅事件发生时，交易量通常会急剧增加。交易量高的币种通常可以轻松买入或卖出，但如果是交易量很低的币种，不但在交易所买卖时需要等待撮合，在去中心化交易所还可能会有滑价的问题。流通供给量流通供给量指的是一个币种在市面上流通的颗数，有些加密货币有透过验证机制挖矿或者锁仓持续释放的机制，所以流通量会略小于总供应量，直到被尽数挖出或者释放完毕。像比特币总共有 2,100 万颗，但市面上流通的仅有 1,947 万颗，目前释放的量已经超过 90%有趣的是，过去有不少人因为私钥或助记词遗失，而无法转出获取用先前购买的加密货币资产，这也会造成一个币种的流通量的减少。从排名列表点选币种名称后，可以进入币种页面，看到针对该币种更详细的资讯数据，以下我们也介绍几个常用的资讯。网路资讯这里的“网路”资讯指的是该币种在哪一条区块公链上，例如常见的以太坊、BNB Chain 或是 Solana。区块链浏览器则是一种链上的查询工具，可以查到那条链上所有钱包地址的资产馀额、交易行为和持币数量等资讯，支援的钱包则是列出有哪些区块链钱包有支援这条网路，因为不同链间的资产不一定相容，如果没有使用跨链工具，转错链可是会损失金钱的！如果你是新手，在把币种从交易所或是另外一个钱包转出来之前，记得先确认你的目的地钱包是否有支援这个区块链的代币，或是确认地址是否无误。币种市场币种市场是一个非常直观的列表，告诉你在哪些中心化交易所（CEX）或去中心化交易所（DEX）可以买到这个代币，有哪些交易对，或操作这个代币相关的衍生品如合约等等，以及他们的交易量与流动性为何。通常会建议到流动性、交易深度较好的交易所进行交易。交易所排名、去中心化交易所排名、合约手续费、汇率计算机中心化交易所（CEX）排名在波动相对剧烈、牛熊转换週期较短且在各国合规情况不一的加密货币产业中，交易所倒闭、跑路的状况时有耳闻，有的是资金管理不加週转不灵，但设立交易所就只是为了诈骗捲款的也大有人在，所以在投资之前，选择一间安全性较高的交易所相当重要。这个排名页面就是 CMC 根据流动性、造访数量、币种数量等各种不同权重统计出来的排名，可以粗略的说，排名越前面的交易所有越大的公信力，如果你想要在中心化交易所购买币种，建议尽量使用排名较高的交易所。遇到不认识的交易所推出看起来好到不像真的的高年化活动，记得也先来这个页面上查一查这间交易所的可信度，以免还没开始赚钱，就连本金都不保。衍生品在加密货币的产业当中，衍生品通常意指合约、期货等与某币种价格趋势表现挂钩，可以添加槓杆的高阶金融商品。根据不同的交易所的策略，在衍生品上有不一样的可开倍数和手续费，也会有不定时的优惠活动。如果你是比较进阶、有经验的玩家，想要使用合约槓杆，可以先到这个页面看一下各家交易所的挂单、吃单手续费，再决定要到哪边操作。去中心化交易所（DEX）排名去中心化交易所则是在链上进行交易或币种兑换时的好去处，通常是採自动做市的流动池机制，所以不需要等待买单卖单搓合，随时都可以进行交易。与中心化交易所相同，CMC 也提供了去中心化交易所的交易量与市占率排名，比较不一样的是，去中心化交易所以不同“链”来区分。所以如果你初来乍到开始使用一个新的链，想要进行交易或换回稳定币，可以到这个页面查查看，这条链上哪个交易所流动性最好。虽然去中心化交易所多半受到智能合约的规范，但跟中心化交易所一样，会有被骇或盗取资产的安全性风险，所以同样会建议使用排名较靠前的交易所。汇率计算器CMC 提供了一个通用的计算机让你快速地在法币对加密货币，贵金属对加密货币或是加密货币对加密货币之间进行价值换算，不过目前计算机支援的加密货币种类不多，只有 BTC、ETH、USDT、BNB、XRP、USDC、ADA、DOGE、SOL、TRX 几种。如果你想要计算其他币种对特定地区法币的价格，可以回到币种的页面，在转换器的栏目进行查询。CoinMarketCap 网站进阶教学了解了 CMC 最基本的入门资讯，我们可以往下看看更进阶的用法。加密货币板块类目、追踪投资表现、币种关注列表、热门交易对查询、术语辞典板块类目如果你有玩过股票，可以把加密货币的板块想像成某个主题的“概念股”，就像最近因为 AI 很红的 Nvida 上涨会带动相关类型的股票一同上涨一样，加密货币产业也有同样的现象，其中一个热门项目上涨，会带动板块中类似的项目齐涨。币圈也有一个可以参考的轮动周期，如迷因币疯涨一段时间过后，资金会再轮动到大盘或其他板块。所以学会查询板块表现，有助于你找到下一个还没开始涨的热点项目。追踪投资表现觉得一般记帐软体跟加密货币不相容，或是想窥探某个鲸鱼的交易行为？CMC 提供了客制化 Portfolio 的功能，让你可以选择“连线既有钱包”或是“手动新增交易”来记录你的交易成效。前者只要贴上钱包地址，CMC 就能自动帮你量化平台支援币种的交易表现以及各个仓位馀额，后者则是需要和传统记帐一样，自己一笔一笔建立输入买进时间和买进的数量。但无论是哪种，对于需要加密货币记帐的人来说，都相当方便。币种关注列表觉得首页的币种排名项目太多，让人眼花撩乱？只要在有兴趣的币种前按下星星符号，即可将项目加入个人化的关注列表当中，CMC 会自动帮你客制化你的关注项目仪表板，让你对自己有在追踪的项目一目了然。 热门交易对排行榜如果你是热爱土狗项目、追逐迷因币或寻求高爆击机会的人，你一定知道与其痴痴等待交易所上架，不如直接到一级市场，也就是链上主动出击，抓住生命週期极短的机会。使用热门交易对排行榜，能让你快速知道最近大家都在哪个区块链主网上疯狂交易什麽项目，又该到哪个去中心化交易所去买。币圈常见术语辞典作为一个新兴的市场，加密货币当中有许多拆开来看都知道是什麽字，组合在一起却从来没看过的词，让人在初识阶段常常一头雾水。为了促进加密货币教育，CMC 推出了自己的学习品牌“Alexandra”，其中 Crypto Glossary 可以让你以关键字快速查询什麽字是什麽意思。虽然目前只有推出英文版，但关于词彙的解释文章都言简意赅且完整。以后遇到像是抽象帐户、採用曲线这些让人摸不著头脑的词，与其在网路上乱找答案，先来这边搜寻一下就对了。总结：币圈在走，资讯追踪工具要有。在这个混乱、节奏极为快速又充满机会的地方，无论是掌握项目资讯还是掌握板块趋势，都是你赢得先机的关键，与其靠感觉买进卖出或乱投项目，不如学会善用工具找到有投资报酬率的机会。像是 CoinMarketCap 或是 CoinGecko 这种大型数据整合平台，是你在加密货币的旅程上必不可少的工具。记得收藏本篇文章，在有需要的时候拿出来翻一翻，绝对能让你少走一大段冤枉路！发布于 2023-10-30 15:52・IP 属地韩国区块链(Blockchain)币圈比特币 (Bitcoin)赞同 53 条评论分享喜欢收藏申请

App isn’t working right.
It doesn’t show my cryptos correctly, I keep getting errors and most importantly anything beyond 7 days it won’t let me see the market history. I’m moving to another portfolio app. This use to be the best app at one point though. Hope they sort it out with an update.

Absolutely must have for crypto traders
I can’t mention the amount of essential features it has which I believe are critical for traders. They have a neat and zippy interface, almost all of the cryptocurrencies & their live rates are displayed on one place. You also get updated with latest news of crypto world & you can set alerts. (-1*) The only thing I miss is notification of latest news articles, I don’t want to scroll the app every second to follow the latest news rather like a normal news app, CoinMarketCap should allow notifications of latest articles. Apart from the notification issue, this app is a must have & probably the only app you would need for all of your trading needs.

App isn’t working right.
It doesn’t show my cryptos correctly, I keep getting errors and most importantly anything beyond 7 days it won’t let me see the market history. I’m moving to another portfolio app. This use to be the best app at one point though. Hope they sort it out with an update.

Absolutely must have for crypto traders
I can’t mention the amount of essential features it has which I believe are critical for traders. They have a neat and zippy interface, almost all of the cryptocurrencies & their live rates are displayed on one place. You also get updated with latest news of crypto world & you can set alerts. (-1*) The only thing I miss is notification of latest news articles, I don’t want to scroll the app every second to follow the latest news rather like a normal news app, CoinMarketCap should allow notifications of latest articles. Apart from the notification issue, this app is a must have & probably the only app you would need for all of your trading needs.

Unable to view assets just prior and after the latest update
I’m using an iPhone X with latest software updateI’m unable to view assets for last 3 hours Even after updating the app I’m still not able to view them, just the overall amount
